The Missouri S&T web and email domain -- mst.edu -- went live last Thursday, Nov. 1, and most (but not all) umr.edu sites can now be reached via the mst.edu domain. The exceptions are some weblogs and wikis, but the main UMR sites are now accessible via an mst.edu domain.
The naming convention is the same as it was for umr.edu domains. (In other words, the admissions website, currently at admissions.mst.edu, will be admissions.mst.edu once the name change is completed. For now, typing the admissions.mst.edu redirects you to the UMR Admissions site (admissions.mst.edu).

I hope that our accomplished webmasters would create the world class site. The current mst.edu directs to the UMR site and I hope there is a plan to start from scratch for the new website. There are ample examples out there...MIT, GA Tech etc., not that we want to be a copycat.
